Reddit Comments:
I worked for a online vitamin supply... I'll never forget the woman who returned "Vaginal Health Probiotics" (written just as the label did) with the message: These tablets do not dissolve, therefore this product doesn't work.
She was not taking them orally as directed....

Think about the dumbest person you know, then know that there are millions of people dumber than them.
I will forever remember the response of that one forest ranger(or similar?) when asked why it's so difficult to design garbage bins to keep the bears from breaking into it
"There is a considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears, and the dumbest tourists"

Makes me wonder what they do with a rectal thermometer
instructions unclear
cant put it in at 150, needs to be at least 200 for the thermometer to maintain its shape.

People like this are why my hairdryer came with instructions not to use it while sleeping or in the bath.

Yea, people don't know that most food thermometers are not made to go into the oven. You can find such reviews for pretty much all of them.
That said, why the fuck are most food thermometers not made for the oven. I don't want to take the food out of the oven several times and I sure don't want to poke several holes into it.
These people vote.

People- the PROBE is good with heat. That part is supposed to stay outside the oven so you can see it.
This is why I hate that they removed the ability to comment on other people's reviews.
I remember stumbling upon a video review of a reptile humidifier, and it was found to be "very helpful." It was the reviewer complaining about the "MASSIVE DESIGN FLAW" that it leaks from the top no matter how you seat the lid.
The "massive design flaw" was that she didn't read the instruction manual, and put the lid on upside down.

Proof that some people are too stupid to know just how stupid they truly are.

Can we please remove all warning labels and safeties and let nature sort shit out?
And this is why we have to have stupid warnings and disclaimers on every product.

Nah, I understand this one. Like, I'm not stupid enough to do this, but I get it.
It's a thermometer. It says it works up to 300 degrees. Lots of us have good, cheap oven thermometers that work just fine in an oven. It's not crazy to think you could stick the metal end in food and leave the thing in the oven from a quick read of the product description.
I'm sure the instructions say somewhere "only the metal bit can get hot, not the cheap plastic bit or the display!!!" but it'll definitely say in big letters "works up to 300 degrees."
Anyway, yes, dumb, but I get it.

So 149 degrees is the limit. Got it
